Election Day Overview

Today marks a significant day for voters and politicians in seven states across Nigeria. In Ekiti State, with 1,059,360 registered voters, ten opposition parties will contest to challenge Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship election.

Additional elections include four senatorial bye-polls in Enugu, Rivers, Ondo, and Nasarawa states, along with one House of Representatives and one state assembly bye-election in Kano and Kebbi states.
