Terrorists neutralised after deadly air strike in Kaduna

Nigerian Troops Neutralize Suspected Terrorists in Kaduna

Giwa, Kaduna State – Troops conducting air support operations under Operation FANSAN YANMA have reportedly neutralized several suspected terrorists following a precision strike on a hideout in the Giwa Local Government Area.

According to security sources cited by Zagazola Makama, the operation occurred Monday at approximately 5:10 p.m. after credible intelligence indicated movement of armed militants within the Kidandan axis.

An aerial surveillance platform was deployed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance purposes, monitoring activities across the broader area. The surveillance identified four suspected terrorists traveling on motorcycles, which were continuously tracked. Additionally, two motorcycles were intercepted along a strategic route believed to lead to a terrorist assembly point.

The tracked movement directed the troops to a suspected high-ground hideout within the operational area. The aerial platform maintained surveillance over the site until a precision strike was executed, resulting in the neutralization of several suspected terrorists, while others reportedly fled in disarray, according to Makama’s report on his official X account on Tuesday.
