Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard became the sixth player from the club to record an assist during the 2026 World Cup, reinforcing Arsenal’s notable presence at the tournament. No other club has registered more assist providers than Arsenal.

Trossard contributed to Belgium’s 3-2 comeback victory against Senegal in the Round of 32 earlier today. He played 109 minutes and assisted teammate Youri Tielemans, who scored a late equalizer before Belgium secured the win in extra time.

The match saw Romelu Lukaku adding a goal and Tielemans netting two to propel Belgium into the Round of 16, where they will face co-host nation USA next week.
