Bright Osayi-Samuel May Return to Fenerbahçe This Summer
Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel may rejoin Fenerbahçe after a season with Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Turkish sports outlet Milat Spor indicates that Fenerbahçe, a prominent club in the Turkish Super Lig, is currently in discussions with the 28-year-old right-back.
Osayi-Samuel was part of Fenerbahçe from January 2021 until June 2022 before moving to Birmingham City last summer. His departure from Fenerbahçe followed unsuccessful contract negotiations.
During his time at Birmingham City, Osayi-Samuel struggled to secure consistent playing time, prompting his interest in returning to Turkey. He has maintained a positive relationship with İsmail Kartal, the newly appointed manager of Fenerbahçe, who has led the team on three separate occasions.
