Cape Verdean goalkeeper Vozinha has signed an 18-month contract with Chilean club Colo Colo following the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On Friday, Colo Colo welcomed the player on its social media platforms, stating, “Welcome. We’re waiting for you.”
At 40 years old, Vozinha is expected to undergo a medical examination and finalize his contract in the coming days.
The goalkeeper gained significant attention during the World Cup for his impressive performances, particularly during matches against Spain and Argentina, where he made several notable saves.
Following his World Cup appearances, Vozinha’s social media following surged from approximately 50,000 to nearly 29 million.
