BIRNIN KEBBI, Kebbi State — The Hisbah command in Kebbi State has detained 11 individuals suspected of engaging in illicit relationships at an unregistered hotel in the Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi.

“These individuals were apprehended for violating moral and religious standards by participating in illicit intimate affairs at the hotel,” Muhammed stated. He further noted that none of the arrested individuals are from Kebbi State; they originate from various regions across both northern and southern Nigeria.
The commandant urged residents to refrain from engaging in relationships deemed inappropriate, particularly with individuals who are not their lawful partners. He emphasized the importance of upholding the moral values of the community.
