Real Madrid releases statement on Vinicius regarding contract extension
Real Madrid announced Thursday that it has reached an agreement with forward Vinicius Junior to extend his contract with the club.
The Brazilian international will remain at Santiago Bernabéu until June 30, 2032. Vinicius joined Real Madrid in July 2018 at the age of 18. Prior to this new agreement, his existing contract was set to expire in 12 months.
This summer, speculation regarding the 26-year-old’s future with Los Blancos intensified, including rumors linking him to Premier League champions Arsenal.
