Manchester City midfielder Rodri has reportedly agreed to personal terms with FC Barcelona as discussions of a summer transfer advance.
The Spanish club has sent a contract proposal to Rodri’s agent, who has confirmed acceptance of the offer. Barcelona is now expected to initiate negotiations with Manchester City to finalize a transfer fee.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on X that “Barcelona have fully agreed on personal terms with Rodri after the contract proposal was sent to his agent.” He added that club-to-club negotiations are anticipated to follow, with the aim of concluding the deal promptly.
Rodri has previously been linked with a potential transfer to Real Madrid; however, it now appears that Barcelona is poised to secure his signature ahead of their rivals.
