Barcelona Prepares for New Season with Returning Players
Barcelona, Spain – Three players from FC Barcelona have resumed training following a break after the World Cup. Joan Garcia, Eric Garcia, and Anthony Gordon, who were part of the Spain and England squads during the tournament, began their preparations for the upcoming season over the weekend.
The trio participated in individual training sessions alongside teammate Gavi, focusing on a combination of gym workouts and ball skills on the pitch. Meanwhile, the remainder of the squad enjoyed a rest day following their participation in a triangular tournament held in Udine, Italy.
The full team is set to reconvene for training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday, embarking on a new week of practices. Head coach Hansi Flick has arranged for double training sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, in anticipation of an upcoming friendly match in Basel.
