Bandits Attack Kaduna Community, Leaving Two Dead and Two Abducted

Abu-Fadan, Kaduna State — A violent incident occurred Saturday night in the Fadan Ninzo Chiefdom, where armed bandits attacked the village, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the abduction of two others.

According to a statement from Aminu A. Abdullahi, Secretary of the Fadan Ninzo Traditional Council, the attack took place between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The statement identified the abducted individuals as Ezekiel, a private clinic owner from Gwantu, and the wife of the late District Head of Abu, Mr. Audu Galadima, also known as Fagachin Ninzo.

Abdullahi described the circumstances surrounding the fatalities, stating that the victims were walking near the clinic when the assailants, concealed in a nearby plantation, illuminated them with a flashlight before opening fire after questioning who was using the light.

In the wake of the assault, security personnel quickly responded to the scene to restore order in the area. Abdullahi condemned the rising trend of banditry in the chiefdom and called on security agencies to increase surveillance efforts in order to apprehend those responsible for this attack.

Efforts to obtain confirmation from the Kaduna State Police Command were unsuccessful, as spokesperson DSP Mansir Hassan did not respond to inquiries.
