Transfer: Baleba passes Man Utd medical
Carlos Baleba has successfully completed his medical examination with Manchester United as he prepares for a transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Sky Sports reports that Baleba has signed a five-year contract with the option for an additional year, potentially extending his stay at the club until 2032.
Manchester United is currently finalizing the paperwork for a £70 million deal, which includes a guaranteed payment of £65 million along with £5 million in potential bonuses.
An official announcement from both clubs is expected as early as Monday.
The transfer comes on the heels of a disappointing start to the season for Manchester United, who suffered a 2-0 defeat against Hull City over the weekend.
