TUC protests anti-union activities at Abuja Continental Hotel
Members of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) staged a protest Monday outside the Abuja Continental Hotel, alleging that the hotel’s management engaged in anti-union activities.
Protesters gathered at the hotel’s entrance, holding placards that accused management of obstructing employees from joining trade unions. The union organized the demonstration to advocate for workers’ right to freedom of association and to urge the hotel to honor their right to unionize.
The protest briefly impeded access to the hotel, as TUC members called for the respect of workers’ rights.
