Poco Lee’s management speaks on ‘drink spiking’ claims in UK case

The management team of Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has addressed allegations related to “drink spiking” in connection with his ongoing legal case in the United Kingdom.

In a public notice released on August 25, 2026, the team stated that such claims circulating online do not pertain to the formal allegations or charges before the UK court.

“We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including those referencing ‘drink spiking,’ which do not form part of any allegations or charges before the court,” the statement read.

The management team urged both the public and the media to refrain from introducing details that are not part of the actual case, emphasizing that such actions contribute to misinformation and can create unfair prejudice against all parties involved.

Additionally, they called for patience during the legal proceedings, reminding the public that allegations should not be misconstrued as evidence of guilt. “Allegations are not evidence of guilt, and no conclusions should be drawn until the matter has been heard and determined through the appropriate legal process,” the team reiterated.
