Singer Mr Eazi reveals his only regret in life

Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, expressed his deep regret that his late mother never had the opportunity to see him perform live. During an interview on the Brut Podcast, the music artist shared that his mother, who passed away on March 6, 2025, was averse to traveling and rarely ventured beyond her immediate surroundings.
Mr Eazi explained that even short trips, such as from Lagos to Accra, were not something his mother enjoyed, making it impossible for him to take her to his performances around the world. “My only regret in life is that my mom never got to watch me perform on stage before she passed away,” he said. “She was very conservative in her life in general. She didn’t like traveling.”
Despite her reluctance to travel, Mr Eazi noted that his mother consistently supported his career through her prayers. “As my career progressed, I was traveling more to do shows, but she always had my back spiritually,” he added.
In the same interview, Mr Eazi mentioned that his father has attended only one of his performances, which took place in 2017. He emphasized that his father remains supportive, often calling to congratulate him on new songs and projects.
