In a recent post on her social media account, Oputa questioned the motivation behind publicly sharing private disagreements. “When did social media become the family court?” she asked.

The reality television star emphasized her desire for a partner who understands that not every conflict needs to be disclosed to the public. She advocates for couples to resolve their differences through honest communication, family support, or professional counseling when appropriate.

Oputa warned that social media users who engage with such personal disputes may take sides, share screenshots, create memes, and argue in the comments, before swiftly moving on to the next trending issue. “Social media doesn’t love you the way you think it does,” she remarked.
