Rotary E-Club of Omole Golden-Impact Names Polio Survivor Ambassador on World Polio Day

In observance of World Polio Day 2026, the Rotary E-Club of Omole Golden-Impact has honored Fatimah Omoniyi, a fashion entrepreneur and polio survivor, by designating her as its End Polio Now Ambassador.

The club recognized Omoniyi’s resilience and determination to lead an independent life despite the long-term mobility challenges she faces due to polio. During the ceremony at her business, club members presented her with a Certificate of Appointment and Recognition, along with materials advocating for polio eradication and a donation to support her business.

At the event, Impact President Rtn. Adedoyin Adedeji, FCA, emphasized the significance of Omoniyi’s story, noting that it serves as a reminder of polio’s enduring consequences. He reiterated the need for continuous advocacy, immunization efforts, and support until polio is eradicated globally.

Through this initiative, the club reaffirmed its dedication to raising awareness about polio, celebrating resilience, and strengthening the international End Polio Now campaign.
