AY breaks silence on Cardiff show disruption, calls for ticket refunds

Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, known as AY, issued an apology to fans after his comedy show in Cardiff, United Kingdom, was disrupted due to an alleged payment dispute with event organizers.

In a statement posted on social media, AY explained that he and fellow performers arrived at the venue but were unable to perform because of unresolved payment issues. The event, titled “AY Live: Single and Not Searching,” faced significant delays, leading to disappointment among attendees, many of whom left before the show could begin.

AY expressed his regret over the situation, stating that the audience, who had paid to attend, deserved better organization and communication. He emphasized that “the audience should not have been caught in the middle of a disagreement between the performers and the organizers.”
