I don’t want to judge him – Mourinho reacts as Ronaldo retires from Portugal team
Real Madrid manager José Mourinho commented on Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent announcement regarding his retirement from international football. Ronaldo, 41, declared on Thursday that he would no longer represent Portugal.
In a media conference on Friday, Mourinho refrained from criticizing the decision, emphasizing the need for respect. He noted that, while Ronaldo will step back from international duties, he will continue his club career.
“I don’t want to judge him. I think that instead of commenting, we should respect his decision. And obviously, I respect it,” Mourinho said.
