UCL: Brugge coach laments Onyedika’s suspension for Atletico’s second leg

Club Brugge Coach Disappointed by Onyedika Suspension Ahead of Champions League Showdown
Club Brugge head coach Ivan Leko expressed disappointment following the suspension of midfielder Raphael Onyedika for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff against Atletico Madrid.
Onyedika received a yellow card in the 76th minute during Club Brugge’s dramatic 3-3 draw against Atletico Madrid, coached by Diego Simeone, at Jan Breydelstadion on Wednesday evening. The 24-year-old played a pivotal role in the match, scoring Brugge’s first goal and assisting Christos Tzolis for the third goal just one minute before the end of regulation.
Leko acknowledged the challenge posed by Onyedika’s absence in the upcoming fixture. “We don’t have another Rapha, so we’ll have to find another solution,” he stated, as reported on the club’s official website.
The second leg is slated to take place next Tuesday at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
