FRSC confirms two female victims dead in Aba accident

Two Women Confirmed Dead in Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway Accident
Two women have died following a road accident on the Osisioma segment of the Enugu-Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway on Thursday.
The incident involved a mini-bus loaded with goods, which collided with a trailer truck parked along the roadway. One of the women died at the scene, while the second succumbed to her injuries before arriving at the hospital.
Ngozi Ezeoma, the Abia State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the fatalities in an interview with DAILY POST. She reported that three individuals were involved in the accident: one male and two females.
“Yes, three people were involved. Unfortunately, the two females lost their lives,” Ezeoma stated.
According to a witness, Okechukwu Agbazuo, who regularly travels the route, the mini-bus, painted white and blue, appeared to be speeding when it lost control and crashed into the truck.
