U.S. citizens urged to leave Middle Eastern countries including Israel

U.S. Advises Citizens to Depart Middle Eastern Nations Amid Escalating Tensions
The U.S. Department of State is urging American citizens to leave more than a dozen Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, due to escalating security concerns in the region.
Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs, Mora Namdar, announced the advisory on social media platform X, stating, “Americans should DEPART NOW from the countries listed below using available commercial transportation, due to serious safety risks.”
The countries identified in the advisory include Israel, the occupied West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Iran, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
The warning follows a significant military operation by the United States and Israel against Iran, which commenced Saturday. This action has prompted retaliatory measures from Tehran, including missile attacks targeting U.S. bases in several Gulf states.
As tensions rise, the State Department emphasizes the importance of prioritizing safety and utilizing commercial travel options for those planning to exit the affected regions.
