Adeleke visits Wike in Abuja after meeting Tinubu

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke met with Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday in Abuja as part of his ongoing discussions with prominent political figures following his recent re-election.

Adeleke, who won a second term in the August 15 governorship election, was photographed with Wike during the visit, both holding the governor’s Certificate of Return. The image was shared on X by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, with the caption, “Governor Ademola Adeleke visits the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.”

This meeting came after Adeleke’s earlier engagement with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, where he also presented his Certificate of Return.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced Adeleke’s victory after he garnered 511,067 votes, defeating Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, who received 444,815 votes. Adeleke secured wins in 19 of the 30 local government areas in Osun State.
