Keyamo Thanks Adeleke for Supporting Tinubu’s Re-Election Bid
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo expressed gratitude to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for his public endorsement of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign for 2027.
In a post on the social media platform X, Keyamo praised Adeleke, calling him “a man of integrity and honour.” He stated, “Thank you, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for the public and unequivocal endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 Presidential Election.” Keyamo reiterated his appreciation, emphasizing the importance of commitment, stating, “Agreement is agreement.”
Adeleke reaffirmed his support for Tinubu during his victory speech following his re-election in the Osun gubernatorial election held on August 15. In his remarks, Adeleke recognized the President’s efforts in supporting a fair electoral process in the state.
“I must deeply appreciate Mr. President, His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his strong support for a free and fair election,” Adeleke noted. He referred to Tinubu as “a son of Osun State” and reiterated his endorsement for a second term, saying, “I hereby reaffirm my earlier endorsement of him for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.”
Adeleke’s endorsement followed his victory over his closest competitor, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), securing his position for another term in office.
