Bandits will block Lagos-Ibadan Expressway – Primate Ayodele warns
Primate Ayodele Warns of Potential Blockage on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a caution regarding potential security threats on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, Ayodele indicated that bandits could block the major highway in July or August.
“The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will be affected; I cannot specify the exact time, but it will likely occur in July or August,” Ayodele said. He urged security agencies to remain vigilant and prepare for this possible disruption.
The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is a crucial roadway in Nigeria, linking Lagos to various states in the South-West and extending to the northern region of the country.
In previous statements, Ayodele has criticized the Federal Government, asserting that it has fallen short of its constitutional duty to ensure the safety of its citizens amid ongoing security challenges.
