The Big Brother Naija reality show has officially introduced the first group of contestants for its 2026 season. The premiere aired Sunday evening.

Hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the launch featured the announcement of participants vying for the show’s grand prize of 160 million naira.

The initial lineup of housemates includes:

1. Tram – A 24-year-old streamer from Lagos, Tram expressed a desire to focus on the game rather than romance.

2. Martins – At 30, this visual storyteller and model hails from Kogi State.

3. Abi – A chef and model representing Osun State.

4. Chimsom Chuka – A pharmacist from Anambra State, Chimsom is 27 years old.

5. Keivo – This 27-year-old web developer from Benue State is open to the possibility of finding love on the show.

6. Mercedes – A 26-year-old massage therapist from Delta State.

7. Kamsy – An event planner aged 24.

8. Sultex – A dancer and choreographer, Sultex is also 24 years old and from Lagos.

9. Aikou – Calm and introspective, this 25-year-old from Abuja is an avid reader who enjoys solitude.

10. Flora – A makeup entrepreneur.

The remaining contestants, Bells, Gerald, Oyin, Sheba, Araga, Ricky, Nomy, Barry, and Neche, were also introduced but details about them have not yet been disclosed.
