BBNaija Season 11 begins: Housemates vow drama, reject romance, target N160m grand prize

Big Brother Naija Season 11 Premieres with 24 Contestants vying for N160 Million Prize

The 11th season of Big Brother Naija officially launched on Saturday, unveiling 24 housemates who will compete for a grand prize of N160 million. This season’s theme is “Show Yourself.”

Organizers introduced contestants hailing from various regions across Nigeria and beyond, each bringing unique strategies and individual stories to the competition that will unfold over the coming weeks.

Among the housemates is Tram, a 24-year-old streamer based in Lagos, who emphasized his singular focus on winning the competition. “I’m here for one thing only, the game. No romance, no distractions, no apologies,” he stated.

Temi Nkem, a 21-year-old originally from London, echoed this sentiment, asserting that she would engage in the competition strictly on her own terms, without emotional entanglements or domestic obligations.

For 30-year-old Martins, a model and visual storyteller from Kogi State, the show represents a platform to share his narrative. “I want the world to see me. I want Nigerians to say after the show that anything is possible,” he remarked.

Abi, a 25-year-old chef and model from Osun State, drew early attention with her revelation of having met her husband on TikTok. She promises to introduce an “Italian experience” to the house.

Chimsom Chuka, a pharmacist from Anambra, aims to stay authentic while providing entertainment. “I want Nigerians to say they had fun watching me,” he expressed.

Keivo, a web developer from Benue, presented himself as logical and original, vowing that viewers would remember him for his integrity. Similarly, Mercedes, a massage therapist and concierge CEO, declared her readiness to sacrifice everything for the competition. “If trading myself is what it takes, I’m authentic, and I don’t hide my emotions,” she stated.

Kamsy boldly identified herself as the “salt, pepper and pepper soup” of the season, promising to bring chaos and intrigue. Elsewhere, Lagos-based dancer Sultex introduced his “playboy” persona, while Abuja caterer and web developer Aikou indicated he would blend simplicity with complexity throughout the season.

Flora, a beauty entrepreneur, set her sights on dominating house parties while insisting on avoiding romantic connections. Bells, another housemate, emphasized her stance on cleanliness, warning, “You can become my enemy if you’re dirty.”

On-air personality Gerard cited dishonesty as his biggest turn-off, while Oyin, a 22-year-old entrepreneur from Ogun State, claimed to enter the competition equipped with several winning strategies. Sheba, a mother and fitness enthusiast, expressed openness to finding love within the house, while fashion model Araga described himself as “the last loverboy standing in Nigeria.”

Writer Ricky from Port Harcourt hinted at a more complex personality than what meets the eye, while fashion designer Nomy vowed to let her work speak for itself. Civil engineer Barry warned that anyone showing disrespect would become his adversary.

Hair entrepreneur Neche expressed willingness to abandon any unsuccessful strategies, while actor Yusuf acknowledged his potential selfishness but asserted that his personality remains “unbeatable.” Musician Goddessa promised to bring bold energy to the house, declaring that the house should prepare for her arrival.

Photographer and model Bluethopia characterized herself as a natural party starter, while entrepreneur and actor Cassi concluded the introductions by stating that his creativity and organizational skills could serve as either assets or liabilities during the competition.

The 24 contestants are now set to compete for the N160 million prize in what the organizers predict will be one of the most dramatic editions of the reality show.
