Rafiu Durosinmi is celebrating his ongoing success with KRC Genk after extending his scoring streak during the team’s 4-0 victory over Beveren on Friday night.
The Nigerian international netted the opening goal just nine minutes into the match, converting a penalty kick that highlighted his strong performance since joining the club.
At 23 years old, Durosinmi has now scored four goals in his first four league appearances for the former Belgian Pro League champions.
The striker credited his teammates for helping him acclimate quickly to the team and contributing to his scoring success.
“I feel very good and above all I am very happy. This is a good start,” Durosinmi said in an interview with hbvl. “The team helped me score. We have a lot of quality in the team and if you have a good group, it becomes easier to play.”
