EPL: Iwobi ruled out Fulham’s home fixture against Bournemouth

Fulham Coach Confirms Iwobi Will Miss Weekend Match Against Bournemouth

Fulham head coach Marco Silva announced Friday that midfielder Alex Iwobi will be sidelined for the upcoming home match against Bournemouth due to a hamstring injury.

Iwobi has not participated in Fulham’s last three Premier League games as he continues to recover from the injury. Silva noted during a press conference that both Iwobi and teammate Ryan Sessegnon will remain unavailable for selection.

“Ryan Sessegnon and Alex Iwobi, both with hamstring injuries, remain sidelined. Everyone else is available,” Silva stated.

Despite the setback, Iwobi is expected to return to the lineup before the end of the season. This season, the 30-year-old has contributed four goals and three assists across 27 league appearances for Fulham.

The match against Bournemouth is crucial for Fulham as they compete for a potential European qualification spot. The teams will meet at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
