EPL: Marcel Desailly names title winners, teams to finish top four
Former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly has made his predictions for the upcoming Premier League season, asserting that Arsenal will emerge as champions once again.
In an interview with SportsCasting, the former France international outlined his forecast for the league standings, placing Arsenal at the top, followed by Manchester City in second, and Aston Villa in third. He expressed optimism about Chelsea’s chances, predicting they will secure fourth place.
Desailly explicitly stated, “I can’t see Manchester United making the top four. So for me it will be Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa and then Chelsea.”
Last season, Arsenal clinched the Premier League title, with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Aston Villa rounding out the top four standings.
