Gabriel Agbonlahor Predicts Rashford Departure from Manchester United
Former Aston Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor has suggested that forward Marcus Rashford is set to leave Manchester United.
Agbonlahor claims that Rashford’s tenure with the club has concluded, and he is expected to part ways with Manchester United before the summer transfer window closes.
“The jersey number he originally wore has been taken by Matheus Cunha,” Agbonlahor said during an interview with talkSPORT. “I don’t think he is willing to return, change his number, and serve as a substitute.”
He further reiterated his belief that Rashford and Manchester United’s relationship has reached its end, emphasizing, “He will definitely leave before the transfer window closes.”
Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona and has since returned to Manchester United. However, it appears his number 10 jersey is now worn by Cunha, complicating his situation at the club.
