Adebayor’s comments come in the wake of Manchester City’s disappointing draw against Everton on Monday. Despite this setback, he remains confident in their ability to rebound.
“If you ask me today, I’ll still tell you I think Man City will win it. But I’d like Arsenal to win it,” Adebayor said in an interview with talkSPORT.
He noted Arsenal’s strong defensive performance this season, acknowledging their efforts in the title race. However, he emphasized the importance of winning their final three games to secure the championship.
“Adebayor added, “Man City dropping points against Everton, they’ll come back stronger. They will manage with their manager.”
