Suspected Bandits Abduct Wife and Son of APC Chairman in Kebbi State
Yauri, Kebbi State – The wife and son of Yusuf Alhasan, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yauri Local Government Area, were reportedly abducted by suspected bandits early Monday morning.
Security analyst and conflict reporter Bakatsine revealed details of the incident in a post on social media platform X, indicating that armed assailants invaded Alhasan’s residence in the Low-Cost area of Yauri around midnight and forcibly took the victims to an undisclosed location.
As of now, security agencies and the Kebbi State Government have not released any official statements regarding the incident. The abduction has raised alarm over the ongoing insecurity within Kebbi State, where communities have increasingly faced threats from kidnappings and armed attacks.
As efforts to locate the victims continue, the whereabouts of Alhasan’s wife and son remain unknown, and security officials have yet to provide additional information.
