Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Man Near Jenin; Settler Shot in Separate Incident

Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man near Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank on Sunday, following an alleged attempt to carry out a vehicular attack near the illegal settlement of Ganim. According to an army spokesperson, no Israeli forces were injured during the incident.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli forces obstructed their medical team from reaching the scene to assist the victim, as cited by the Wafa news agency.

In a separate incident, an Israeli settler was fatally shot near the illegal settlement of Halamish in the central West Bank. The victim, identified as a 30-year-old man, was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival, as confirmed by police.

Military officials stated that the suspect opened fire from a vehicle before fleeing on foot. Security forces later detained a man at a hospital where he sought treatment for injuries sustained while attempting to escape.

Following the shooting, Israeli forces restricted access to the cities of Ramallah and el-Bireh, according to reports from Wafa.
