LaLiga: Ejuke savours Sevilla’s away victory over Athletic Bilbao

Sevilla Defeats Athletic Bilbao 3-1 Despite Red Card

SEVILLA, Spain — Chidera Ejuke expressed his enthusiasm following Sevilla’s 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao at the Estadio San Mamés on Saturday night. The win marked another strong performance for Sevilla as they continue their successful start to the new season.

Athletic Bilbao faced an early setback when defender Yuri Berchiche was shown a red card in the 11th minute, leaving the hosts with 10 men. The visitors capitalized on their numerical advantage, with Oso scoring the opening goal just four minutes later.

Ejuke made a significant impact after entering the match early in the second half. He netted Sevilla’s second goal in the 50th minute, finishing a well-placed pass from Isaac Romero.

Romero later added a third goal for Sevilla in the 57th minute. Athletic Bilbao managed to pull one back in the 73rd minute with a goal from Aitor Paredes, but it was not enough to change the outcome.

Ejuke reflected on the team’s performance, stating, “We’re happy with the game. Six points in two games and a good team spirit. We’re already thinking about the next one. I always try to be available to help the team in any way I can,” he told the club’s official website.
