LaLiga: Flick names three players as Barcelona’s captains
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the appointment of three players as the club’s temporary captains.
Flick made the announcement ahead of Wednesday’s Gamper Trophy match against Al Ahly.
“I decided on the captains until we vote, as our team is not yet finalized. We may still acquire more players, or some may leave,” Flick stated, as reported by Barca Blaugranes. “Until that occurs, Rapha, Eric, and Pedri will serve as the captains.”
The need for new leadership arises following the departures of Marc-André ter Stegen and Ronald Araujo from the squad.
