Kwara United Unveils 16 New Players for Upcoming Season
ILORIN, Nigeria — Kwara United has announced the signing of 16 new players for the 2026-27 season, retaining only 14 members from the previous squad. The club made this announcement during a ceremony held on Wednesday at its secretariat.
Club chairman Kumbi Titiloye stated that the new signings aim to fortify the team’s roster following the departure of several players whose contracts have expired.
The newly recruited players include goalkeepers Stanley Victor from Kada City and Ouattara Khalifa from Mali’s Alemas FC. Additionally, the team has added several defenders: Ferinyaro Ali from Kada Warriors, Peace Dewan from Bendel Insurance, Ada Adamu from Barau FC, and Uche Daniel from Yobe Desert FC.
In the midfield and forward positions, Kwara United has signed Anthony Nnamdi from Bendel Insurance, Emmanuel Ekpeyong from ASEAMI FC, Obed Ponkap from Barau FC, Ajibola Ayomade from Ikorodu City, Solomon Shoola from Abraysports, Benjamin Jack from Nasarawa United, and Sanni Mohammed from Laos’ ACAS FA.
