NPFL: Niger Tornadoes players undergo medical tests ahead of new season 


Niger Tornadoes have conducted electrocardiogram (ECG) tests for their players as part of medical assessments ahead of the upcoming football season. The ECG exams, which monitor the heart’s electrical activity, aim to evaluate players’ cardiac health and ensure they are fit for the rigors of professional football.

The Ikon Allah Boys are ramping up their preparations for the 2026-27 season at the newly renovated Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna. Last season, Niger Tornadoes finished in 14th place.

They are set to face Enyimba in their opening match of the new season in Minna.
