NPFL: Uzoenyi backs Rangers to beat Rivers United to title

Ejike Uzoenyi Predicts Title Victory for Rangers
Former Rangers winger Ejike Uzoenyi has expressed confidence in his former club’s ability to secure the 2025-26 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.
Uzoenyi stated that with fair officiating, the Flying Antelopes have a strong chance of clinching their ninth NPFL championship. Currently, Rangers lead the NPFL table with 62 points and have two matches remaining in the season.
Rangers are positioned just one point behind Rivers United, the team in second place. Uzoenyi emphasized the importance of impartial officiating in the upcoming matches.
“Let both teams play their games and let the officiating be seen to be free and fair,” he said in an interview with Completesports.
He highlighted that the location of the matches or the opponent does not matter as much as ensuring fair officiating. “What matters is fair officiating, and with that, Rangers will win,” he added.
Rangers will face Bendel Insurance and Ikorodu City in their final two fixtures, while Rivers United will compete against Wikki Tourists and Katsina United.
