Prize money FIFA will pay Spain, Argentina after World Cup final revealed
The prize money awarded to Spain and Argentina by FIFA following the 2026 World Cup final has been disclosed.
Spain triumphed over Argentina 1-0 in the final held in New Jersey, with Barcelona forward Ferran Torres scoring the decisive goal during extra time.
According to NDTV Sports, FIFA will grant $50 million to Spain for its victory. Argentina will receive $33 million for finishing as the runner-up.
In the third-place match, England secured $29 million after defeating France 6-4, while France will take home $27 million for its fourth-place finish.
