Super Falcons Set to Face Tanzania in Pre-WAFCON Friendly
Nigeria’s Super Falcons are scheduled to play against Tanzania in a friendly match on Thursday, as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The match will take place at the Lenoria Sports Complex in Casablanca, beginning at 6 p.m. local time. This encounter will serve as an opportunity for the Super Falcons to assess their readiness for the upcoming tournament.
Originally, the team was set to compete against Ghana’s Black Queens in a friendly last Saturday; however, that match was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Following their match with Tanzania, the Super Falcons will travel to Rabat for the competition, which kicks off next week. They are set to face the Scorchers of Malawi in their opening fixture on Tuesday.
