Suswam, Otta Agbo, Terseer emerge Benue senatorial candidates after APC primaries

Gabriel Suswam Wins APC Senatorial Primary for Benue North-East
Makurdi, Benue State — Former Governor Gabriel Suswam has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary for the Benue North-East district, defeating incumbent Senator Emmanuel Udende. The results of the contest were announced on Tuesday at the APC secretariat in Makurdi.
Suswam garnered 131,083 votes, while Udende received 1,364 votes, according to the official declaration made by Sabiu Mahuta, the Chairman of the National Assembly Primary Election Committee in Benue State.
In the Benue South district, Francis Otta Agbo, a former House of Representatives member, secured victory with 58,760 votes, surpassing several challengers, including Daniel Onjeh (5,570 votes), Patrick Idoko (2,732 votes), Gabriel Oloche (5,246 votes), Nelson Alapa (4,312 votes), and Joseph Ojobo (6,782 votes).
For the Benue North-West district, Aber Terseer, the husband of the Secretary to the State Government, Deborah Aber, won with 93,412 votes, defeating incumbent Senator Titus Zam, who received 2,763 votes, along with other candidates.
The APC’s primary elections in Benue State have concluded, with candidates now selected for all three senatorial districts ahead of the upcoming general elections.
