Those supporting Tinubu govt are hopeless – Isaac Fayose

Nigerian businessman Prince Isaac Fayose has once again criticized supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, labeling them as “hopeless people.”

In a video posted on his official Facebook page on Thursday, Fayose asserted that the Tinubu-led government has underperformed in nearly all aspects of governance. He contended that the administration consistently highlights the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project as its primary achievement.

However, Fayose argued that the 700-kilometer road project does not sufficiently demonstrate the government’s efficacy, pointing out that many rural and inter-state roads remain in poor condition.

“Anyone supporting this hopeless government is also hopeless,” he said in the video. He claimed that the administration has diminished Nigeria’s economy from the top position in Africa to the fifth.

Fayose criticized what he described as corruption, remarking, “They arrest Yahoo Yahoo, but some people are stealing our money to build hotels and buy Rolls-Royces to flaunt it in our faces.” He urged that true supporters of the government do not believe in their own potential to create sustainable livelihoods, instead opting to align with those he accuses of undermining the nation’s progress.

“The only achievement this government boasts about is the coastal road,” he added. “But the road to your village is bad. Everything about this government is a failure.”
