Tinubu’s drug allegation: Don’t fall for distraction – US firm to world

Political Firm Issues Statement on Allegations Against Nigerian President

A U.S.-based political advisory and lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, has called on global audiences to remain vigilant against what it describes as a smear campaign regarding drug trafficking allegations against Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement shared on its verified account on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, the firm referenced its release of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) court records related to Tinubu, asserting that the president and his supporters might attempt to divert attention from these serious allegations.

The statement emphasized, “We expect him and his enablers to once again launch a new round of smear campaigns to distract the public from the truth about his alleged heroin-trafficking past.” It went on to preemptively address potential claims regarding the firm’s founder, Dr. Von Batten, stating that rumors about his identity and associations are unfounded.

The firm concluded its statement by urging the public not to be swayed by distractions attributed to the presidency. It reiterated the importance of staying focused on the allegations against President Tinubu, which it characterized as serious and deserving of public scrutiny.
