Chelsea Signs Harrison Bettoni from Wigan Athletic
Chelsea Football Club announced the signing of Harrison Bettoni from Wigan Athletic on Thursday. The 18-year-old midfielder has signed a contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2030.
During the 2025-26 season, Bettoni made 27 appearances for Wigan’s senior team. He made his senior debut in the previous season’s EFL Trophy and had a notable first League One appearance against AFC Wimbledon.
Bettoni is expected to compete for regular playing time under Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso this season.
In a statement, Chelsea welcomed him, saying, “Welcome to Chelsea, Harrison.”
