Transfer: Rafael Leao to join Chelsea, not Galatasaray
AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is reportedly set to join Chelsea instead of Galatasaray ahead of the closing of the summer transfer window next week.
This information was shared by Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar, who provided insights into Galatasaray’s transfer pursuit. Although Leao has been linked with the Turkish club, sources indicate that the Portugal international is eager to depart from the Serie A team.
Çınar noted that Galatasaray’s interest in Leao has encountered complications, stating, “We are talking about a €20 million reduction,” according to Habersarikirmizi.
He further elaborated on the situation, mentioning that Jorge Mendes visited Milan yesterday. “He received authorization from the Milan club and will most likely take Leao to Chelsea. It seems that the Leao chapter is closed for Galatasaray,” Çınar added.
