Transfer: Tanzanian club Azam FC sign Abdulrafiu from Rivers United
Nigerian left-back Taiwo Abdulrafiu has secured a permanent transfer to Tanzanian Premier League club Azam FC, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Abdulrafiu, who played for Rivers United in the Nigeria Premier Football League last season, has signed a three-year contract with the Tanzanian team. Prior to his stint at Rivers United, he was a member of Bayelsa United.
In addition, Abdulrafiu was part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2024 African Nations Championship, adding international experience to his profile.
