Nigerian Army Arrests Suspected Boko Haram Supplier in Adamawa State

Troops of the Nigerian Army have apprehended a man suspected of supplying logistics to Boko Haram during a joint operation with local hunters in the Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The suspect, identified as 40-year-old Mallam Badamasi Maikudi, was taken into custody in Garaha town following reports of suspicious activities in the community.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency and security expert focusing on the Lake Chad region, shared details of the operation on social media Saturday, citing military sources. The operation was conducted by the 232 Battalion, Tactical, in collaboration with local hunters, who observed Maikudi’s movements before the arrest.

Preliminary reports suggest that Maikudi regularly supplied energy drinks and food items to a location linked to terrorist activities. He is currently in military custody, where investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of his connections to the terrorist network.
