Four Suspected Terrorist Collaborators Arrested in Kogi State
KABBA-BUNU, Kogi State — Authorities have apprehended four individuals suspected of collaborating with terrorist groups in the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area. The arrests were made during a coordinated operation involving troops from the 12 Brigade and agents from the Department of State Services (DSS).
The operation, which took place around 12:11 p.m. on Monday, targeted a location at Light Hotel along the Odumo-Kabba Road. Security analyst Zagazola Makama shared details of the operation in a post on social media platform X on Tuesday, noting that it was prompted by credible intelligence linking the suspects to terrorist activities.
“The four suspects were arrested without incident and have since been handed over to the DSS for further investigation and possible prosecution,” Makama reported.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by security agencies aimed at dismantling terrorist support networks and enhancing security throughout Kogi State and its surrounding regions.
