Troops, NDLEA arrest five suspected drug dealers in Sapele

Five individuals suspected of drug trafficking were apprehended by members of the 90 Amphibious Battalion in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The arrests occurred during a coordinated operation conducted around 10:10 p.m. on September 4 in Ugberukoko Community, according to a post shared on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Sunday.
The operation was initiated following intelligence regarding alleged drug peddling activities in the region. During the raid, authorities seized six bottles containing a substance believed to be codeine and detained the five suspects.
The individuals and the confiscated items have been transferred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and subsequent legal action.
