Turkey: His behaviour has changed, he gets angry – Engin tells Galatasaray to sell Osimhen
Sinan Engin: Galatasaray Should Consider Selling Victor Osimhen
Former Beşiktaş midfielder Sinan Engin has commented on the recent behavior of Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, suggesting it has changed since he joined the club. Engin made these remarks during a discussion on the Asist Analiz YouTube channel.
Engin advised that if Galatasaray receives an offer of €120 million from clubs like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich, they should seriously consider selling the Nigerian international. He noted that Osimhen’s temperament appears to have shifted, with indications of anger affecting his performance and interactions on the field.
“Osimhen seems to get frustrated more easily now,” Engin said. “We need to have a detailed conversation with him. His behavior has not been consistent with how he performed when he first arrived on loan from Napoli.”
Engin highlighted that this shift in attitude has impacted team dynamics, specifically mentioning that teammates, like Yunus Akgün, sometimes prioritize passing to Osimhen, even when other options may be more viable. This, he explained, could complicate team play.
While Engin acknowledged Osimhen’s contributions, he emphasized that the striker was more effective during his loan period than he has been since joining Galatasaray permanently.
